I really want Neville to fight Bellatrix. But hopefully not die. Preferably beat her.

Ok, it's official - we have a Neville fanclub! *hands out t-shirts and banners* Just to add to this area of discussion, this is what Matt Lewis had to say on the future of his character: Q: Do you think Neville's going to die?
A: A lot of people have come up to me and said, you're going to die mate'. Cheers! But I like to think he'll be there fighting to the end. If he does die, I'd like it to be really heroic, saving someone else's life.

If Neville will really die, I'm sure that it will be heroic! So his grandma would be very very proud of him *I'm wearing a Neville fanclub t-shirt*

Yes. I think that would be alright, too. I want him to live, but if he dies, he better go down fighting.
And neh, I would like a t-shirt, too...

Bulk orders going for t-shirts! Get your Neville t-shirts! Black with white print reading a variety of options, including: 'Neville: the unsung hero' 'We lub Nebille!' (reminiscent of how he spoke when b****face broke his nose in book 5) 'Can YOU find Trevor? Support Neville Longbottom' Prices negotiable. Enquire at Neh's Nutty Notions.
hehehehehe....... oh dear....
Anyhoo, onto more serious business, methinks that some adult certainties for carking it in book 7 are quite possibly Snape, most likely Lupin, and perhaps one or two of the Weasley seniors... but in terms of youngin's, i just don't know if she's gonna do it... i mean, she wasn't afraid to bump poor Ced off, but his death didn't strike near as painful a chord as it would if we lost one of the trio or the D.A. (by which i mean Ginny, Neville or Luna - and Dean and Seamus i guess - not Cho! Never Cho! She's excommunicated in my mind)

She gave an official death tally of two, right? Am I remembering wrong?
I think Voldemort and Snape. I don't think she's going to kill anymore beloved characters.

The 'two' part i think came in the reprive of two characters who she didn't think were gonna make it. Or wait, was it one character got a reprive and two new additions die??? I can't remember! The interview is on my iPod though, so i should check. I just assume that with the final book, it would not be realistic if we weren't seeing many more deaths, both big and small *it sounds awful to call the death of any character 'small'*

I think it was one character that was supposed to die lives and one that was supposed to live dies. Is that what you're remembering? I don't remember if she said how may total.

in an interview jk said that she wouldn't kill harry's best friend but we all know jk and she also said that one character managed to live but two had to die in its place. I think the two most likely are neville and ginny out of the whole Dumbledore's Army group

I loved the third book the most when I was younger, but I like the 4th, 6th and 7th as I've gotten older. They provided more depth and understanding with all the history of Voldemort, and the romances were funny too!
