I love the whole Ron and Hermione relationship!! So much tension!! To be honest like feranda i thought that J.K just forced the whole Harry/Ginny thing. First he's all over Cho than he's over her (after all the build-up!) and then all of a sudden in Book 6 he loves the smell of her hair and he's jealous that she is with Dean... Also, it's kind of creepy. We all know that Harry looks like his father except for his eyes... he has his mother's eyes. Ginny has the long red hair that Lily was known for and has brown eyes. We know that she is very good looking and kind of resembles Lily. How weird is that??? They're like the next Lily and James

I'm a huge fan of Ginny and I was happy that they got together, although I was so surprised it happened so fastly..I really didn't expect. Anyway I think Ginny is so great!

I agree with sagedautumn it is weird. JK just didnt do the Harry/Ginny thing at the right time. Then it ended so quickly and she didnt talk about it much. The Hermione/Ron thing would be cute though. It's a little noticable that they like each other alond with the frequent bickering. hehe.

I don't know why Ginny's character still don't convince me, maybe because the only thing that i heard about her in the books is that she's Ron little sister and she's in love with Harry. Anyway i hope the last book be at least good for all the fans

I think I liked the Harry/Ginny thing. But I'll let you know what I really think when I re-read HBP. And the Ron/Hermione thing has been a long time coming and I think it's cute - even if they are very different.

The Ron/Hermione thing is soooo cute, I hope they will finally get together. Ginny isn't only Ron's little sister, that's only my opinion but I think she's a great character and I'm very glad she's started to have a bigger role, in HP 5th she's so funny!

I'm a huge R/H shipper, and will be relieved and rejoicing when that FINALLY comes about (although we can pretty much guess it's about to, with how HBP ends) I really like H/G BECAUSE of the James/Lily links, which i think are a nice and sweet little echo of the past, and that Ginny is in my mind a pretty "ballsy" (for lack of a better term) chick, who several times now has put Haz in his place or offered up perspective that has really grounded him. I too am glad she's taken on a larger role in the books. HOWEVER, I do agree that it came out of left field and very suddenly - i think we can all concede that Ginny never did "give up" Haz, just as she says, but his sudden fascination with her come book 6 does seem very random. Like you guys have said, it does seem forced - as if Jo realised she had reached the deadline for forming that relationship and just went "oh - there!!" and put it to paper to be done with it, hehe! But i think both ships will sink or sail for certain once we see what happens at Bill and Fleur's wedding - pretty dresses, soppy music, lots of flowers and kissing and rich food - something's gonna blow!!! (and i mean that in both good and bad connotations)

Do you guys think that Harry and Ginny's relationship will last?? Do you guys think that Ginny will survive?

Do you guys think that Harry and Ginny's relationship will last?? Do you guys think that Ginny will survive? I think it will be last except Harry or Ginny die or both, but i still have some dudes about it, i don't know you guys, but i think some of the 2 are gonna die, because i think a happy ending with everybody happy will be very predictable, beside i think Rowling said in an interview that something about some character MAYBE don't survive. For me a good end would be Voldemort and Harry died or at least Voldemort die.

I agree that Jo would never sink so low as to conclude with a happy happy joy joy ending; not that i WANT out hero to die... but i do! (if that makes any sense) As for Ginny, her death doesn't seem that plausible to me, but i am hoping (again, i don't mean to sound so terribly sadistic here) that at least one of the youngin's will go, because it's that sort of death that really puts the final nail in the coffin, if you get me. It's still got to get much much worse before it can get nay better - that's the RULE! hehe
To get back on-topic, POA is still winning by a long shot! WOOHOO!!!! Here's a questing for y'all: fav line/s from each book?? I have to take a moment to think about this one myself, so i'll get back to ya!

Just like Ginny, he's become an increasingly important character and we know that he could have been "the one"... just thought I'd throw that in there

I agree with jefie, I think it could be Neville too. Maybe also because he's such a nice character (just think of his parents...) and who won't be sad if he dies?? It'd be very sad!
I hope Ginny won't die and her relation with Harry will last (HAPPY ENDING)...but I'm not sure that will actually happen...probably not.

I think it might be Ron. He's likely to rush into something without thinking about it first and get in trouble.

Neville's death would be very poignnant, particuarly if he goes down fighting Bellatrix, because frankly who doesn't want to see him stick it to the b****?! *starts chant 'Go Neville! Go Neville!* I doubt that Jo would kill off either of Haz's sidekicks, only because she - or rather the publishers - might be worried that would be a huge blow for younger readers to take... but then, i don't want any of that sanitisation for the greater good nonsense with this book! If they've got to die, then they've got to die, and don't hold back Jo because your readers are a good deal smarter and stronger than most publishers give them credit for!
