It's great to go back and catch all the little hints that you missed the first time round; so much that was utterly insignificant in earlier books now has taken on new meaning, and it makes the re-reading process all the more enoyable.

I've just come across this thread, and we can't let it "die a slow and painful death" !!! Ever since everyone's read HP7 and knows what finally happens, all the HP threads seem to have disappeared ... but I think they should keep going! Harry's always ripe for new discussion and new interpretations!

Harry's always ripe for new discussion and new interpretations! Actually, there are still some people waiting for the translation to come out so make sure to use the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" thread to discuss anything that has to do with the book. Thanks!

Wow I can't imagine the anticipation you're going through. I ended up getting a huge poster of the 7th book after lining up early for it. It hangs proudly on my wall.

Actually I haven't heard anything yet, I'm walking very far from Young adults/child books section at bookstores (I'm too tempted to have a look of HP7), not visiting Harry Potter website (only sometimes Jo's official website) and I luckily avoided to hear spoliers from tv when HP7 came out in July...it's working very good this time.

HP lovefest! Oh, and just some fresh canon gossip, straight from Jo herslef - our beloved headmaster, DD, is/was in fact, gay. Yep yep! How's that for politically correct! WOOHOO! Careful, this article includes some spoilers.news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=267167

That's ok Jeife - it makes perfect sense to do so. I just wasn't sure which thread this news was better suited to, so i covered both.
