Work is mainly where I read now. On my first break, my lunch break, and on my last break. Everyone there calls me bookworm now. lol

I most often read in bed, because that's where I feel the most comfortable and where I can better concentrate on the book I'm reading. Nevertheless I also enjoy reading on the tram or train... I like to kill time with some good reading! What astonishes me is that noises around me don't bother me as much when I'm reading in public, but when I'm at home, the tiniest bit of noise distracts me a lot!

I read everywhere. Bed, living room, school, bus, walking down the street... Yes, I read and walk at the same time. Please don't tell my mom.

Yes, I read and walk at the same time. Haha, I've also tried that a couple of times... worked surprisingly well for me. But it actually isn't the most convenient way of reading!

I can do it, but it gives me a bit of a headache with all the words shaking around like that.

I always have books with me, but less lately since I drive. However, I normally read on my bed. We just got a new leather couch and love seat. They are perfect for reading. And for naps. When I was in public school I could read a book a day because of all the down time I had.

I can do it, but it gives me a bit of a headache with all the words shaking around like that. Don't you think it's even worse in the bus? I often get nausea when reading too long going by bus... it happens a lot faster than reading in a car, for example.

I can read anywhere. On the bus, train, in line waiting for tickets (kinda like Rory did at Chilton, waiting for someone, anywhere, hence my motto: Always bring a book! (I actually brought one to last years Christmas dance, just in case I'd get bored. Didn't need it though)

Reading in the car is terrible, I get a headache after like 2 minutes of reading and then get sick when I ignore all my bodys warnings and continue reading for more than 5 minutes...

Reading in the car is terrible, I get a headache after like 2 minutes of reading and then get sick when I ignore all my bodys warnings and continue reading for more than 5 minutes... Thats how I get when I read on the bus. For some reason, it's always only on my way home from school. Going to school is fine.

i'm lucky with that. i read all the time in the car. i read whenever i possibly can. i carry my book around with me all the time. i feel lonely without it. i also read sometimes when i'm walking... i'm surprisingly pretty good at it. i read whever i get a chance; on my break at work, at the end of class when i get done with my homework, and even when i'm on the ellipitcal machine at the gym. sometimes i even read my book right before my soccer game where we're waiting for the other team to finish. people won't recognize me without my book...

If I wouldn't carry a book I would feel lonely too! I can't read in car because it get me nausea and hedeache, it makes me get sick. At the beginning of the last semestre I had a very boring class (that teacher was terrible) and I spent all the 4 hours reading Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut. I know...I should have listen to the lesson...but that book was better! I can read and walk at same time when I'm walking in the small town where I live, because there are always a few of people around and I don't worry to hurt someone!

See that's the thing, I can read without even noticing any kind of discomfort while on a bus or in a car or train

Like a few of you mentioned, I also can't read in the car. I don't really know why, but I don't feel good when I do it. Coming from a very flat place, even just hills make me queasy sometimes...I get carsick easily I guess. I can read if the window's open and I'm in the front seat sometimes, but I have to look up every few minutes for awhile. I haven't ever really read on a bus, but I bet it would be better to read in a bus than in the car.
