At home I read on the couch and I always read in bed before going to sleep. I can't sleep if I haven't read a little. It clears my head after a long day! I carry a book with me almost everywhere I'm going, but yesterday I forgot and what a borig bus ride that was! I also read on my breaks at work and between classes and during long drives to my parents (takes almost 6 hours to get there, so we don't see them too often...) when my boyfriend is driving.

I read at work on breaks and at lunch, my work is right next to a park, so I can hop over to it and read under the trees. I carry a book in my purse as well, so I can read in between classes and on the bus etc. When I read at home, it's usually in bed or else in this comfy red chair I have that's by the window.

I know what you mean about having to read a little before bed. It helps me to think about something other than whatever I'm worried about at the moment and get to sleep.

I bring a book with me everywhere - Got a hurting back to prove it. In bed, my chair, on the bus with socially retarding earphones plugged in. I can't stand reading with people around me talking. It's got to be a solitary, alone thing. Also, I'm not a fan of the 'class reading aloud' at school. It annoys me with the slow pace I have to put up with.

I have the "bag too small to carry all my stuff around" syndrome... I take a book with me wherever I go also (sometimes even more than one), and my hunchback is a rampant prove of that, lol. Over the years I've developed the ability to block out all the noises around me, so if someone's calling me when I'm reading, the most probable thing is that I won't hear anything.... But I mostly read before I go to sleep, it's more calm that way.

I've taken to bringing my book/s with me to work in case i get there early or have my lunch break; i can ignore the messy, popcorn spilling public and just go somewhere else.

I read quite everywhere. For the moment, mainly on the train/bus/tube during my everyday commuting. I read also in my bed before sleep.
