I usually just read in bed, or on the couch. I cant read in cars or buses because I get a headache. But I can read perfectly fine on a train, or on a plane.

See that's the thing, I can read without even noticing any kind of discomfort while on a bus or in a car or train Lucky you! I honestly envy everybody who can do that. On the other hand... I don't have to go anywhere by bus very often or very long, so I guess I should be thankful. In this case, I just take my mp3 player with me.

I always carry a book and mp3 player in my bag. When I'm reading while listening to mp3 player I'm perfectly out of reality!

I always carry a book with me and my ipod as well so that I can concentrate. People were talking about a reading nook - right before I went back to school last year, I got a whole bunch of pillows and blankets and turned part of my laundry/storage room into a reading room. It was actually really cool, but then I got a cat a few weeks later, and he took over that room. So I don't use it anymore b/c it smells like kitty litter. So now I usually just read on the couch. And my husband loves to tell me how much I spent on that reading room, too!

When I have my own house, I'm going to have a study/library with a computer for work, but not a TV or something. Perhaps a CD player or something for some instrumental music while I read. I kinda imagine it to be like cozy like Sherlock Holmes' apartment with books everywhere...I'm weird, I know, but I can't help it...

I'd love to have a room that looks a bit like a 19th century-ish library, with walls full of books and two comfy seats next to a fireplace. And all kinds of artwork placed in between the books. Oooh, and nice rugs on the floor.

I wish so badly to live in the country so i can go lay out on a hill filled with flowers and a beautiful breeze; laying out on a busy street just outside my front door with sirens- it just isn't what it used to be haha.

Today I discovered the best reading place ever (besides my room I suppose). Oda, this place itself is reason enough to study in Trondheim! I was walking in the oldest part of town, which is a really cozy place with lots of cafe's and wooden houses and everything, and then I spotted a little green Used Books Shop. And it was AWESOME! Two floors, whereas in the second (you had to climb up this ladder/stair thing to get up there) there were tables and candlelights and a couch and a fireplace and coffee and cookies and books! And all of the books in the second floor costed only 25 NOK which is about 4 dollars or something which in Norway is extremely cheap (we're an expensive country)! I was in Heaven! I bought eleven books for the price of 400 NOK (about 60 dollars). And it was actually supposed to be 500, but the owner said I'd get them for 400 if I promised to return. Return?! I didn't wanna leave! Ah, my own little piece of Heaven. Goodie.

My future home plans are nuts, I'm excited though. I want books to be EVERYWHERE, not just in the wonderful library I'll make. I buy a lot of cool looking books at used book sales just to save to use for decoration. I also collect copies of Hamlet. It's one of my favorite plays (yes, not very original I know, haha) and I'd love to decorate with one single shelf in a hallway or entry way or something that is filled with copies of Hamlet. I think that would be so fun. My idea of a cozy house is one with books constantly in reach.

The Hamlet shelf sounds like a great idea! I wish I had a home to decorate...but I agree with you, a cozy house should have book everywhere. It's like that back home, because reading in is our blood (mixed up with some sarcasm and candy on top). You should check fleamarkets and stuff, those places can be gold mines:D
