Zelda, that's a great idea! Grabbing different copies of one book. I think you could definitely find lots of different copies & editions of Hamlet. I wouldn't choose Hamlet, but I liked it. I would have to go with Sense & Sensibility. But just the idea of having one shelf with different looking versions of the same book could be really cool!

Come to think of it my younger brother actually has that in his place, but with Lord of the Rings. In addition to different versions, he also has at least one copy in every language he speaks, and I that's like five or something so. But it's cool.

Yup, I can usually find copies of Hamlet for really cheap, about 25 to 50 cents. I can't wait to have them all on display. Some of my favorite books to buy for decoration are dictionaries. You can find them pretty often, and old ones are very cool looking. I like to find old hardcover dictionaries - once you take the dust jacket off it's a really cool old looking book. I can usually find them for 50 cents to a couple of dollars each. I also like to use dictionaries because I don't like the idea of filling your home with books you've never read or never intend to read - like rich people who never read but like the look of books in their home so that just buy ones that look good with their color scheme. Dictionaries are fun to collect and you don't have to read them to enjoy them, you can just browse through and look at the random pictures. Dictionary pages also are useful for crafts. If I get a dictionary in crappy condition, I save it to use the pages for crafts - entire random pages, or cutting out certain words.

Where do I read??? Honestly I think i make my way around the whole house if i really like a book because then i can't put it down. But primarily i read in my living room because it's cozy in there and kind of separated from the house, everyone else gathers into the family room because that's where the T.V is. I usually have a book in my handbag but it's usually hard for me to read it anywhere really. Although in the summer when it's lighter in the morning, I like to read coming home and going to school. The winter always makes me sleepy!

I may be weird but I love to read in public places. It's something about the background noise that I really love and helps me concentrate. Starbucks is my favorite because of their pepermint mochas (mmmmm) which I can sip as I read. Like many people here I almost always carry a book in my purse (or handbag for all you guys from the UK and elsewhere). The most unfortunate fashion craze that swept through my home town (when I was living in England) was the teeny tiny purses. All I could fit were my keys and my phone, maybe a lipgloss if I tried really hard , there was no way I could fit a book in there. Now I carry a big boho bag which also poses a problem because I can fit more than one book in there!

HAHA Same here.. I had to buy a new big bag because a lot of the books would not fit largely because i had my phone, ipod, keys and a myriad of other things all in a small bag!! it was so annoying!

I don't have any small bags for the same reason! Sometimes I go out with my school bag just because I can't choose which book bring with me.

The only problem with large bags is they seem to collect all of my garbage and random pieces of paper and such. I think its a vortex .

I change them so often so I don't accumulate much in them.

Hey this is my first post! I am so happy I found this bookclub... I usually read on the couch or in bed, even though that usually makes me sleepy... Unfortunately I can't read on the bus cause I get sick... I also like reading at Starbucks! I enjoy going there on Saturday mornings and just snuggle in one of those big chairs with a latte and a good book...
