Amazon doesn't have a release date up yet. But you can have them email you when they announce it.

Haha - I remember that episode of the Magic School Bus.
I think they should break out Captain Planet again now that everyone is once again concerned with the environment. I loved that show.

We had a sega gamegear w/ like four games and my brother and I would play it endlessly. We especially liked Sonic and Aladdin.
My roommate and I randomly had a PS1 our freshman year of college and we would play duck hunt a lot because it was the only game we had.

Did anyone else watch VH1's 100 greatest songs of the 90s last week? It was really good. Here's the list: www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/the_greatest/127762/episode_featured_copy.jhtmlI called number one. And I think they did a pretty good job with everything else. I watched it one night with a friend and it was fun because each song brought back memories and we kept sharing them.

I agree that we had a nice generation to grow up in. It was nice to not have all the electronics as kids. I remember making very creative games to play instead. But it's also nice that we learned how to adapt to the new technology as we grew up. I remember how excited I was when we got our first cd player, our first computer, the internet, etc.... But now I laugh because I don't know what life would be like without my cellphone or the internet.
I hated pogs. Once, I was babysitting my brother's friend and his little brother. The little brother got bad at me and threw this 5 foot container of pogs at me and hundreds of pogs went flying everywhere. The kid proceded to lock himself in the bedroom while his brother and I tried to find all the pogs. It was a horrible night. And that is why I hate pogs.

I like to think of my self as an 80s kid (I was born in 83), but I remember a lot of things on that list. And now I have the fresh prince song stuck in my head...

I have a flickr account but I haven't done anything with it. I planned to, but never got around to exploring. If I had any photos, they would go here: www.flickr.com/photos/8838287@N04/. Maybe I'll get inspired soon to do something with it.

The way copyright laws work (this is my vague understanding of them) is that you are allowed to copyright your writing for so many years (50 maybe) and then your family can renew the copyright for so many years after your death. So any book that is available online is going to be fairly old.

You can also read books online at Project Gutenberg ( www.gutenberg.org). They are all books that are not copyrighted anymore, so it is perfectly legal. I like it because I can sneak a few pages at work without anyone knowing that I'm reading.
