I saw Shrek the Third at the dollar movies this weekend. I thought it was entertaining, but not as good as the first two.

I've been re-watching the Gilmore Girls dvds, too. I'm in the middle of season 3. I just saw Catch and Release. It was a lot different than I thought it would be but I really liked it. And it was weird to see Kevin Smith talk so much. Have you guys seen the unaired pilot? It's weird... there's someone else playing Sookie and Dean... No, but I have seen a clip of the woman who plays the harp playing Sookie. I'd like to see the unaired pilot.

I saw Becoming Jane this afternoon. I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Now I want to read some more Jane Austen.

That's what I love about Ann Arbor - it's artsy, so you get all of the independent and less popular films on top of the regular ones. I think I'm going to miss that when I move to Florida.

I saw Premonition the other night. I thought it was pretty good, but I'm a big Sandra Bullock fan for some reason.

It's a Barbara Streisand/Robert Redford movie from the 70s. It's about two very different people falling in love and trying to make it work. It takes place in the 30s and 40s and deals with current events like communism and the war at the same time. It was really good - I liked it.

Pan's Labyrinth. It was a lot different than I thought it would be, but I liked it a lot.

People thought that John Stewart did a bad job, but I thought that he was great. I also like Ellen a lot though and she did a wonderful job, too.

My roommate's boyfriend brought over Black Snake Moan last night and somehow he convinced us all to watch it. It was strange. Very strange. There really isn't any other way to describe it.

I saw Harry Potter last night. I thought it was good. I was ok with what they left out for the most part. Umbridge was perfect (even if she looks different). The kids' acting was much better (though Ron didn't have a big role, did he?). They are all growing up so much.

My brother sent me a text that said "poor heath ledger" but I didn't understand what it meant (I was lost in my bubble that is law school and ballet). And then I kept thinking about all his great roles and thought maybe Matthew was watching a movie of his. And then I saw that he died and I was even more shocked because I had been thinking about him and his movies all evening. So sad. 10 Things T Hate About You and A Knight's Tale are two of my favorite movies. I can't believe it.
