Isn't it funny when you know someone on a reality show? A girl I went to high school with was on America's Next Top Model a few years ago. They even aired her video of our little town.

That's a phrase you don't expect to hear.

That's really cool. I'm actually surprised that Ann Arbor isn't listed as a participating city since it usually loves joining in liberal causes, but I plan on doing it and I emailed everyone I know about it.

I think maybe someone mentioned this on another thread, but I'm not sure. Earth Hour is a worldwide event where people are asked to not use electricity for one hour on March 29th. There is more information about it at www.earthhour.org (sorry if only it takes you to the north america site). Earth Hour started in Australia last year and has become an international event aimed at global warming awareness. It is taking place in North America from 8pm-9pm on March 29th. I'm not sure if it is at different times in different places. Does anyone plan on participating?

I watched Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead last night with some classmates (it was our assignment this week). I think the movie is smarter than me, but aside from that I liked it. But I have no clue what I'm going to write my paper on...

Isa said she and Dom were discussing doing a Jane Austen book club on here if there was interest.
I might have accidentally got sucked into watching the Knight Rider movie on NBC tonight.
Oh, and I love the Juno soundtrack.

I went to see Juno all by myself and loved it. Juno, that is. I love going to the movies by myself too, but that's another story. I've always wanted to go to the movies by myself but I never have.

I watched Superbad. It was a little too much guy humor for me, but it was still pretty funny.

I watched Hairspray last night. I thought the movie was a great adaptation despite the difference b/w it and the musical. It made me want to dance the rest of the night.

haha, my dad fell asleep at my ballet performance! now, that was traumatic.. I don't think my dad ever made it through a ballet performance of mine. My mom would wake him up before I came on though so he never missed me.

I saw National Treasure 2 the other day. It was enjoyable until I started to think about it and then I had a lot of questions...

Just watched the third Pirates movie. It was very confusing and I did not like it very much.
