I bought this book but I haven't read it yet. How was it? I'm not sure if I enjoyed it as much as other people have, but I still thought it was really good. I think if I would have been able to read it in a shorter amount of time it would have had a better effect but yea. I'd definitely recommend it to others! well, it was kinda behind on my TBR list. i'll try to move it up a bit then. thanks

I finally finished August 1914 by Alexander Solzenitsyn! I'm so proud of myself:) And even though the book was loong and 70% of it very heavy I am so glad to have read it. And I would recommend everyone of you to read chapter 56 next time you're at a library. It can totally stand on its own and was so poetic and well-written that I wrote it down in my quotebook (took me five pages) and one day I'll use it when I teach.

I recently finished reading both Eleanor Rigby by Douglas Coupland, and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro; I definitely cried while reading the later of the two.

I finished Ender's Game, How to Be Good and A Wrinkle in Time last week. Ender's Game was really good as far as science fiction goes. How to Be Good started really well but I found it kind of dragged towards the middle which is disappointing for aNick Hornby book.

I just finished A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. I liked it, but it wasn't amazing or anything.
