Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. I think I'll need to read it again. It wasn't necessarily a bad book, it just... didn't live up to my expectations. It's always such a shame to get excited for a book and then find out the book just doesn't quite deliver.

Going Home by Harriet Evans. I guessed the ending early on, but I really liked it, very cute.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao--I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved all of the references to "nerdy" stuff (LotR, Matrix, Watchmen, etc.). I'd definitely recommend it.

The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich for school. I liked the first half. What I didn't like with the second part was that I don't think the flow in the story was too good. Suddenly I felt like I was reading something entirely different from a different time era.

I recently read an amazing children book, the original title is Princesses oubliées ou inconnues… by Philippe Lechermeier and Rébecca Dautremer. It tells the stories of some forgotten or unknown princesses, my favorites were the one who sleeps a lot (she's a relative of The Sleeping Beauty apparently) and (of course) the one who reads a lot At the end of the book I found out I might be a forgotten princess myself ;D LOL I LOVED it!
