lol mine aren't coming along so good: 1. Save: my bank account balance has actually dropped since I made this resolution. 2. Find a better part time job: I have applied for heaps and been to interviews but have yet to actually get one. 3. Get more work experience: I have an online volunteer editor position, but I had wanted to get more experience at a newspaper. 4. Get fitter: I got an exercise machine for christmas but I haven't been using it, I've lost a couple of kilos but not due to any concious effort.
Yeah I think my new years resolutions need a bit more work! To be honest until I find a better part time job it's hard to focus on other goals as well.

Regarding buying less books and trying to not spend as much money in general - not so good.
However, my read 52 books this year resolution is going quite well. I've read 25 books, and it's the end of the 16th week, so quite ahead of schedule so far. Which is good, because I want to dive into some bigger books soon that are going to slow me down.

I think I caught up during the summer months having read 20 books in just a few months. Anyone else's going good?

I've done some of mine now too. I have a better job at a mens wear store now and I'm in the middle of doing an internship, so that's two resolutions done. I haven't saved a lot, I have about a grand to go to Japan but 600 bucks of that was my tax return, so I'm not sure if that really counts as saving. Unless you consider it enforced saving

my new year's resolution is to write a letter to myself each day of the year, put it in a hatbox and bring it out for my children to see when I have children.

Mine were to focus on my grades more, to be less obsessive with my horoscope, to read more and be less shy.
My grades are going pretty well - In the top ten of all my classes. I still check my horoscope a couple times a week. Studying has lessened my reading rate, and I'm still a bit shy.

I'm reading book #50 right now. It wasn't a resolution or anything, but it's still nice to see that I've kept a pretty good average so far.

My resolution for 2008 is to be able to balance everything. I want to be able to study, read, exercise and go out with friends, and stick to my resolution! And also, to make the most of year 12!

My new year resolutions for 2008 are: 1. Stop postponing things, but just do stuff whenever I remember that I need to do them. 2. Ski more 3. Not be the laziest student ever known to man 4. Refresh my Spanish

Ben and I are going to pay off our credit cards bills and all other non-student loan debt.

My main ones for 2008 are: - Save up enough money for a decent car.
- Stay up to date on law readings this semester.
- Try to keep fit to lessen all the bad health I seem to get as soon as it gets colder.
- Eat more healthy foods like fruit and veges.
I'm not making a pleasure reading resolution because I know won't be able to stick to it.
