Similar to the new-ish "books you've cried over" thread - here's a place about movies you've cried over.
There's been a lot, but probably the biggest tear-jerker for me was Big Fish. I saw it twice in the theater, and the first time I cried, and the second time I BAWLED.
Recently, The Namesake made me cry pretty hard - especially since the book (which I also cried during) was so fresh in my mind because I finished it the day before.
Other wet ones for me: Forrest Gump, Cold Mountain.
I feel like a cry easier during movies now than when I was younger - I cry at happy parts and sad parts. I cried during the 6 minute oscar nominated animated short "the little matchstick girl."

I cry at a lot of mvies, so I'll just list the ones that really got me going. The Notebook Little Women The Namesake The Lion King Life as a House Armegeddon (I know it's lame - I'm a sucker for it though) That's all I can think of right now. I really don't cry very much in real life, but give me a good book or movie and I start bawling. Even movies that I know end sadly. I get my hopes up that it will be different this time and then I get disappointed all over again.

I think I cried in Ray, Sylvia and Blood Diamond. I know I cry in a lot of movies but I find it hard to remember afterwards because I'm so wrapped up in the movie!

The Fox and the Hound The Lion King Finding Neverland Armageddon Longest Yard (I agree with you there, pixiedust) My Girl Star Wars Episode 3 (that was out of anger: Anakin was so stupid! Grrr...) Anna and the King Bicentennial Man Hotel Rwanda Little Women (when Beth dies) Pearl Harbor Steel Magnolias The Last Samurai The Notebook The Patriot and, if it counts for crying as a result of laughing so hard: The Reluctant Debutante.
I obviously am very bored at work and thus I had time to go through all of the 347 movies I've rated on Yahoo! My Movies and pick out the ones that made me cry...I am a loser

There have definitely been movies that are not "supposed" to make people cry that I've cried in - the most recent one I can remember is The Holiday. There's a part involving Kate Winslet's older neighbor that just makes me so happy/sad that I was sobbing!

I've never easily cried during a movie until about one or two years, I'm became more sensitive. I've seen Little Women many times since I was a child and I cried when beth dies only last time I watched it, about 6 months ago. An Inconvenient Truth (when he talks about the accident happened to his child, it reminded me what happened to my grandpa) Finding Neverland
