Sometimes when I'm just sad and depressed I like to watch sad movies because it helps me cry. Does anyone else do that or am I just weird? My best friend does that, she's a big believer in it. I will tend to do that if the reason I'm sad isn't that serious - just general blah where it would feel good to watch something serious and have a good cry. But if I'm upset about anything serious, and/or big, I'll watch something lighter. Usually my favorite romantic comedies. I used to do that, but now I try to opt for something that will distract me. Although sometimes when I have a fight with my boyfriend or something I watch the episode (s) where Loralei and Luke break up. It's much better when you have boyfriend troubles to watch something that doesn't have a happy ending where they all kiss at the end! Also I loved saved as well.

Humdiddles.... films i've cried in... here's some random ones i can recall: - "Little Women" (94 version) - "Dragonheart" - "Phantom of the Opera" (1990 and 2004 versions) - "King Kong" (2005 version) - "Bicentenial Man" (i know!) - "Finding Neverland" - "Peter Pan" (2003 version) - "Sunshine" (can't really explain that one briefly!)
and there's been a few others but i tend to cry in films no one else cries in!

Bicentennial Man was sad The ending was sad. But I loved the movie Gosh I remember watching that movie and knowing it was sad enough to cry in and I saw previews for it a few days ago but I cannot remember the story line for the life of me. It's got something to do with a robot right? and Robin Williams is in it. oh! I cried in Mrs. Doubtfire!!!

My Girl, and possibly some others. BUt I actually got teary eyed during Hair Spray because I think that they brought up an emotional point for me, because I used to be a bit overweight, I'm proud to say I've slimmed down (purely for health reasons), and I feel better about myself. But I think that people shouldn't tear other people down just for appearance.

The Notebook gets me every time. Totally, 100% agree with you. Also, every single movie that is a romance or drama. I am a very easy crier

The Notebook gets me every time too. Especially at the end when the are old and Ali remembers him, but then it wears off and she doesn't know who Noah is......his face makes me so sad to see her like that.

I cry everytime I watch the Notebook too!
-The Phantom of the Opera (2004) -Titanic -Moulin Rouge -The Notebook -Edward Scissorhands -Finding Neverland -Peter Pan (2003) -A Walk to Remember -The Fox and the Hound -Treasure Planet (pathetic, I know) -Romeo and Juliet -Shakespeare in Love -Becoming Jane -The Return of the King (when Frodo and Gandalf go to the undying lands)
I know there's more, but I can't remember. I'm a sucker for dramatic scenes!

Oh man, I cry during so many movies... I tell Daniel not to get certain ones because I don't want to cry.
Walk The Line... I cry like a baby in this one. Seriously, sobbing. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...Same as above A Walk to Remember...My husband and I both cry at this one. His mom died of cancer 2 years ago, and it just gets both of us. Serenity Finding Neverland Pride and Prejudice Big Fish... I can hardly breathe I start crying so hard. We saw this in the theatre, and it was embarassing. Strangely... Lord of War...When the wife goes to the storage thing he has, and the code was his son's birthday I just lost it. (of course I was pregnant, and anything about kids made me emotional. Patch Adams ET Castaway Love Actually
