11 and 16, so they're old enough to be good travellers, but young enough to enjoy it all

Does Walt Disney World have a California Adventure-type place like Disney Land does? Because that might be more enjoyable for an 11 and 16 year old. You could go there for a few days and go to Disney World for a few days. I just mention it because Disney World loses its magic, fast, when you're older than 10. It's fun, but it's more like, "how cute." than "awesome!"

I am considering going by myself to Spain next year, after I graduate. I've traveled alone, and I've traveled to Europe, but not both at the same time. We'll see if it works out.
I also really want to go to Greece and explore the islands, but Spanish doesn't scare me as much as Greek. I can manage "Donde esta el bano" and "Yo soy americana" LOL

Yesterday, I went to Boston. I went to the aquarium and then down to Quincy Market. I ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and have a short sleeve sweater from there. It was really fun.

I've lived near Rotterdam and I don't really see it as attractive to tourists Well, my friend's cousin has a house there and she is going to stay in the US for four weeks then. So we're staying there for a week for free. I think I should take that opportunity even though the city is not that attractive. But thanks for warning me! ;D

If you're ever going to shop in the centre of the city (Koopgoot etc.) you should go to this huge bookstore called Selexyz Donner. The foreign language books are downstairs .

Maybe I can get a few more recommendations, Carma. But the bookstore is already a very good one, of course! I am definately going to go downstairs there!

I'm going up to the San Francisco Bay Area next week to visit family and celebrate my grandmother's 70th birthday. LOL. But it should be fun.
