I was wondering if anyone keeps a book journal. I read so many books, and want to be able to remember what they were about in a few years. So I started a book journal, just to jot down some details, some things I liked or disliked.

It's funny actually, coz a while back i purchased a book called "So Many Books, so Little Time" which is essentially a published reading journal, or rather an attempt at documenting a year's worth of reading, in which the author hoped to read i think a book a week for all 54 *WARNING she meant 52; her head needs examining in the meantime* weeks! Needless to say, it didnt really work but her efforts were noble!

I can never remember that! But I know about the days each month has because of the knuckle thingy ;D Anyways, I have never tried a book journal but the idea sounds interesting. Should probably give it a try.

I keep a book journal. I started with just keeping a list of the book titles and the number of pages, but it turned into a different page for every book, if not more. I write down what I did or didn't like about the book, and give it a rating of up to 5 stars (because I'm a loser). I also write down any quotes from it that I liked. I write down at the top of the page the book, author, page count, genre, and why I read it (like if someone recommended it or if it was for school or for bookclub). Yeah, I keep normal diaries, so my reading journal is sort of an appendix to them I guess lol

Mine's not exactly a book journal but whenever I finish a book I write a mini book review, about 10 lines or so, just to remember what the book was about and what I liked and didn't like about it. I started doing that after I finished school because it felt weird to read a book and not have to write an essay anymore...

My book journal is going well...helping me remember stuff. But now i'll be reading two books at a time....so i'll have to start a second journal for personal reading...but I bought a nice notebook for it.

Me, too. As for the books I have to wait for the list. Maybe I´ll buy a notebook to use as a book journal. Sounds pretty interesting.

I've decided to do a bookjournal online, since I start a post on here when I finish a book anyway that way I can easily transfer stuff across I figure. I'm using blogger.com for it. I've seen people use an online library log site to review all the books theyve read before, but I forget the site.
