I think it comes in handy when I want to see what other people read and think about a particular book. Don´t know if I want to keep such a public book journal.

I thought it was interesting, and some people might like it. It's true, I prefer a much private journal.

When I read a book I always keep a notebook close by to write down words I don't know or things I like about the book. Ill have to try blogger though to keep all the books I read down . I love buying office supplies! Notebooks and pens, I buy in bulk because I lose things easily ;D plus I like the smell of office stores. .

I love when school starts for the soul purpose of being able to buy new notebooks and new pens and pencils and folders and stuff like that. I'm a nerd...

I don't really have a problem with a public book journal. It's just like having someone read a review you've written. I could never have an online diary blog though like some people do, with all their inner secrets and emotions.

I have an online journal and a notebook journal. That way if I don't want other people to read it, they won't.

I´m not much of a diary/journal type. Always forget to write in it after a while, but it might be different with books. I´ll give it a try as soon as I find a pretty notebook

Yeah, next time I'll definitely buy a nice journal for my book journal purpose instead of just a left over school spiral notebook

I am keeping a book journal for two month now and it's great to remember the quotes and things I liked about them. I also write down the new books I bought on a special page and a short personal critic for each book.

I also write down my personal thoughts and where I bought the book or if someone recommended it and who it was. And I started to write the critics and thoughts in the language of the book I read (I am only able to speak German, English and French, but it would be really nice to learn some Swedish or Italian).
