I want to read The Fountanhead, but I'm having a really hard time finding a paperback copy of it right now. I've looked in about 6 stores and it's sold out everywhere.

I've been following The Morning News' tournament of books, and "The Road" was just crowned champion. It was also just announced that it's Oprah's latest book club pick. I've added it to my TBR list because of all the praise it got from The Morning News staff - they made it sound like an incredible, life changing book: www.themorningnews.org/tob/

I've been interested in "The Post Birthday World" lately. It's by Lionel ShriverIt's gotten a lot of buzz on the book scene here, and it sounds interesting and like a fun, good read.
I put a reserve on it from the library though, because I'm trying to buy less fiction that I view as "iffy" - where I'm not convinced that I'll love it and want to own it. If I read a library copy and love it, then I can always buy it after.

I just added a few books recommended to me by my cousin while we were shopping for books: The Thirteenth Tale (which was already on my TBR list) The Secret Life of Bees (which isn't on the list but I started it once and got bored...I'll give it another try though) and The Thief Taker (had never heard of it previously)

I have so many on my tbr list. Sometimes it scares because I won't have enough time to read all the books I want to in my lfetime! So here are a few awaiting to be read in my room. If anyone has read any of these tell me what you thought and I'll do the same with your TRB list if I have read any.
The Catcher In The Rye The Foutain-Head Girl Interupted Lolita New Moon Running With Scissors The Virgin Suicides
What should I read first??!

I've only read Catcher in the Rye, I should be getting a copy of New Moon soon though since I ordered it... MY experience with Catcher was about the same as Kristie's most people either hate it or love it... Lots of TEEN ANGST!
