I hope Harry lives. Either way we all know it will be a good book!

As the story seems to have taken on the form of an epic, it really should end in triumph and I suppose, for me that means Harry being able to defeat Voldemort and live to tell the tale

i'm debating whether or not I should pre-order the book, or buy it in store. They always have tons in store, but I think it's cheaper online and I'll get it the day it comes out.

I'm not sure if they have anything like this where you all live but everyother time a new HP book comes out my bookstore has a HUGE party and everyone gets dressed up and theres games and stuff for kids and then everyone lines up at like 1145 and as soon as its 1201 they start selling it! its kinda lame but its still fun to get alll caught up in it. I will definitely be attending!

I had Nick preorder it off Amazon for me because I don't have a credit card (I would need money to do that). By preordering it off Amazon, I only have to pay $18.89 rather than $34.99 (that's 46% off). That definitely makes me happy...I checked on Amazon.ca and it has a preorder price of $22.50 rather than $45. You may want to order it for the price...

I do pre-order mine, but from a local bookstore or general super store. I then wait in line really early on the day, and i must say it's a ton of fun to scare other so-called "fans" with just how fanatic i am about the whole business! Huh! They call themselves fans.... they're just pale immitations! Amazon is never an option with ordering my books unless it's something i can't get here, but of course if i were in the U.S., I'd probabaly opt for it. The cheaper the better, and the faster the better. I'll have to sniff about a little closer to the relaese date to see which store is selling it at the lowest cost, though usually i cave in from excitement and just order it anywhere beforehand, because the info always comes out just a day or two before and who wants to wait that long to secure their place?! Not i!

I just realized that the italian translation of the 7th book will come out about 6 months later. -sad!- Maybe I'll read it english but I'm not sure because most of the characters' names have been translated in the italian editions...why they did that?!?!

The one thing I'm not excited for when the 7th book comes out is I'll prolly have heard before finishing it what happens. Look at it this way: Australia is 16 hours ahead of the US. I'm pretty sure someone will finish it and ruin it for everyone in those 16 hours so I'll know what happens before I even get it. I definitely will have to steer clear of those articles online and everything so I don't accidentally see anything. Glad it's during the summer though. O no, I just thought of something else...not only is Australia 16 hours ahead of me, but I have Nick's cousin's wedding to go to the 21st, so I can't even read it the first day. It's gonna be hard to not figure out from someone what happens.

Here's what Jo herself says about having completed the Harray saga:
I always knew that Harry's story would end with the seventh book, but saying goodbye has been just as hard as I always knew it would be. Even while I'm mourning, though, I feel an incredible sense of achievement. I can hardly believe that I've finally written the ending I've been planning for so many years. I've never felt such a mixture of extreme emotions in my life, never dreamed I could feel simultaneously heartbroken and euphoric.
