I just got back from seeing Al Gore's an inconvenient truth. It was very interesting, disconcerting and action provoking. Definately worth a look for anyone who needs to be pushed out of complacency and into action to prevent climate change.

I really wanted to see that one but didn't make it to the movie theatre on time - it was only playing for a couple weeks here. Guess I'll have to rent it.
The last movie I saw was David Cronenberg's A History of Violence, starring Vigo Mortensen. It was strangely entertaining, like pretty much everything Cronenberg does - that man has a twisted mind!

I saw it at the movies and found it enjoyable too. I knew nothing about it before I went except that I had heard a bit of the trailer in the background once, but only the "This family has a history of violence" line. So I was expecting a family drama about domestic violence, boy was I surprised!
It was a good film though, definately a change to seeing the main actor guy in the LOTR.

The last new movie I've seen is A Lot Like Love with Ashton Kutcher. I liked it, but I'm still not sure if I liked it enough to buy it.

I saw "The perfume" last night. It´s based on the novel and for a long time no one knew how to make it into a movie because the story centers around the sense of smell. But I really enjoyed the outcome even though some images were gross.

I really want to see that one when it comes out here. I read the novel in college and I remember that the first chapter completely grossed me out, but it's an awesome story.

I just saw Talladega Nights starring Will Ferrell. It was pretty funny, a bit long though. So much product placement!

I think the product placement was done on purpose as a satire though right?
