The special feautres for the LM are great, as with all the best of Disney; being a huge Ashman and Menken (the lyricist and composer of the film's music) as well as a "making of" buff and a lover of 90's Disney, i adored the material they presented on this disc. Great stuff; i recommend watching it. I'm so happy that Little Mermaid is finally available on dvd, for i was told once that i'd be waiting until 2009 - this is much much better!

I didn't really get it either. I keep thinking that I didn't pay enough attention and missed something.

I just don't seem to see the plot line yet. I still have to finish it though...

Well, the whole thing is a little weird because Holly's life is just really unstable. It's obvious she misses her brother and Paul resembles him and that makes her happy to call him Fred. She doesn't have a job and needs to live from hand to mouth, so she gets her money by dating super-rats who give her money when she goes to the powder room and she pockets most of it. She really does live sort of like a child in a way...

To this day I can't watch Breakfast at Tiffany's without crying when I see the wet cat at the end!

I started watching the movie because i need to write a review on it, but I found it really boring and stopped. I just could not get into the movie. So no, I don't normally stop in the middle.

The wet cat at the end is really sad. And I love the "Moon River" song soo much. And it's played in the background in various ways throughout. (I can't watch new movies without watching it all the way through the first time.)

There have been some movies I stopped watching halfway through because I couldn't take it anymore. Dogville is one of them, I really didn't get into it.

O, I stopped Count of Monte Cristo before the beginning credits were even over because the story was already playing and it was totally off from the book. I loved the book, and it didn't need to be changed so that pissed me off.
