Will do. I´ll probably read it after a tough day at uni. Should be relaxing. I walked past a bookstore today and didn´t buy anything. It was hard, though!

I found so many great books at Strand last time I was there, I purchased: The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai (just won the Booker prize) Take the Cannoli by Sarah Vowell The Mother Tongue by Bill Bryson Bel Canto by Ann Patchett The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy Oryz and Crake by Margaret Atwood
I also found White Teeth at the Hoboken library booksale for 50 cents! A very nice trade paperback copy. And I just bought I Like You by Amy Sedaris at her book signing at the Union Square BN. I've read some of it so far, and it's awesome.
I tend to buy books constantly.... I need more bookcases and hours in the day to read.
When I get a little money, I buy books. And if there is any left over, I buy food. - - - Desiderius Erasmus

Wow, sounds like you had fun I really liked the god of small things. And the cover looks great. Uh, I want to read the inheritance of loss,it´s on my tbr list. I have the same problem with bookcases and shelves. When I need more I go to IKEA and buy a shelf but then it looks pretty empty and so I have to buy more books and then a new shelf again. . .It´s a vicious-circle! I bought a bookcase for my dvd some time ago but then I put books in it!

Pretty sneaky I don´t like e-books so my bag gets really heavy. It´s all my parent´s fault since they insist on giving me money to spend on my vacations. They´re nice like that and there are worse things to spend your money on.

I like ebooks when I have to read a few books at a time, this way I don't have to carry them with me all the time. Plus I can highlight, and make notes.
I prefer actual books tho.

I guess I´ll have to do that for uni. I only checked out 2 books for one class but they´re really heavy, which isn´t too surprising considering one is an enyclopedia.

I actually bought some books today, rather than just take the free ones from work/library. I bought The Complete Corvette: A Model-by-Model History by Tom Falconer for my boyfriend's birthday or Christmas present and Abundance: A Novel of Marie Antoinette by Sena Jeter Naslund. I had Abundance checked out from the library, but I won't be able to finish it before it's due, so I just bought it.

I´m so jealous! I stumbled over a bazaar today on my way to class and I just couldn´t resist and bought "arranged marriage" by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni who is rapidly turning into one of my favorite authors.

I love book store around my school, it's so tempting to go by books in between classes.

wow great scores with the augusten purchases, bookaddict! I just replaced my paperback copy of running with scissors with the special hardcover edition they released last month...the one with the four-color picture on the front. I went to his signing last night, and wanted to get all my copies signed....all my other copies were hardcover. Plus my roommate borrowed my copy of RWS and basically destroyed it...
