I know what you mean Carma, I don't wear foundation (and eyeshadow) for the same reason. I don't feel comfortable with it, my bestfriend thinks it's funny because she doesn't feel comfortable WITHOUT foundation...lol, but she often says I have a better skin than hers. See, I'm one of those peope that doesn't feel comfortable without foundation. I won't leave the house without it. Even if I wear no other makeup, I put foundation on. I always had decent skin but my skin has become much worse since I moved to Florida (I think it's all the heat and humidity) so I have a few things to hide now.

I'm going to admit that I'm a bit of a makeup fiend. I wear it every day if I'm going out or not! I try to keep it natural though because I hate that overley done up look on girls. I use foundation, cream blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner (only on the top) and mascara. I love long lashes the most. I also love the strobe cream from MAC. It kind of illuminates your skin.

I'm hardly ever without foundation and mascara, and most often I'm wearing some sort of eye shadow and eye liner as well. I like to do it kind of discreetly though. I don't have a favorite brand except for in mascaras, where Lancome Flextencils is absolutely amazing. It's pretty expensive in the store, so I've started to use strawberrynet.com where you can find almost any make up brand cheaper than in the store and there's free shipping:)

The one thing I wear pretty much every day is foundation and blush, because I have to cover up some stuff and I want to actually look alive. Most of the time, when I'm not lazy, I will wear eyeliner, mascara, and some eyeshadow. I don't really wear a lot of lip stuff-mostly just lip balm and occasionally lip gloss. I never wear lipstick because it dries my lips too much. For eyeshadow, my favorite brand is Urban Decay. Their pigments go on so well and they stay put, especially if you use their Eyeshadow Primer Potion. The colors are great and can be applied as subtle or as intense as you want. It can be expensive, but I think it is worth it for the quality and for how long they last. I also love MAC a lot. I just got some really cool multi-pigment eyeshaodw from MAC and I love it. I tend to wear some crazy eyeshadow colors because I figure that once I am older, I won't be able to get away with it, so I might as well have fun with it now. I'm a makeup junkie if you couldn't tell from this long post.

I also love the strobe cream from MAC. It kind of illuminates your skin. I love foundations or powders and bronzers that are illuminating, they give you such a nice glowy radiant look. I use Rimmel Recover a lot as a light foundation because it's one of the cheapest illuminating foundations I've found. I also love Revlon's skin lights bronzers, they're really good too.

I started wearing foundation in November this year and now I can't leave the house without it I bought Maybelline Pure Makeup foundation for my year 12 formal because I wanted something cheap since I figured I would only be wearing it on the odd occasion. But now that I'm wearing it quite often, I want something which will last longer. I've heard mineral makeup is good and won't cause as many breakouts. but is a lot more expensive - any one tried these before?
