I have just run out of make up and tomorrow I have to buy some...probably a strange thread for a book board, but lets share make up tips..do you wear make up? What are your favorite brands or products, I always spend a bit on make up as I feel its important to have nice and accurate make up, I go to the clinique counter, What do you all think?

I'll make a plug for cruelty-free products here. You can get a lot of good products without unnecessarily harming animals. Here's a list: search.caringconsumer.com/And Clinique is a cruelty-free company. That's what most of my make-up is (made up of free samples that my mom gets for me).

Clinique is definitely a good company. All my make-up is from Clinique. Not only are they cruelty-free and don't have animal products, but because they're hypo-allergenic and don't have added scents or anything they're really good if you have sensitive skin.

My favorite makeup brand is Smashbox. The pigments go on really nicely and the quality is so good.
But I don't wear makeup very often because it's better for my skin and... I'm just too lazy.

I'm pretty lazy too and I always wear very little makeup, I don't have a favorite brand, I just tried some different brands but I haven't found the best for me (yet). I'm running out make up and I think I'll try clinique (there are winter sales now ) or Helan, I've tried a couple of Helan creams and they were really good.

I always wear makeup when I go out. It takes about 15 minuter per day but then I feel more confident. My favorite brands are Lumene and Clinique, but it's quite expensive.

My favorite brand is The Body Shop. I buy almost everything from there. I have sensitive skin and I have found their Aloe Vera serie perfect for me. I use foundation and powder in my everyday make-up. I buy make-up from Lumene too, but mostly from The Body Shop.

I love Clinique too. Most of my makeup is from the Clinique counter! Speaking of which, I need some new foundation!

I'm all about eyeshadow and mascara. I don't wear foundation because it feels heavy and gross on my skin, I just can't handle it for some reason. I like just using a little blush. But lately I've really been into lipsticks.
I agree, Clinique is is really nice. I love their eyeshadows because they don't make my eyes itch.

I'm really lazy with make up as well, and I also have trouble getting out of bed on time in the morning. so it is usually just mascara when I have the time . Sometimes I draw a black line right above my eyelashes with a kohl pencil, I try to make it as thin as possible, because I don't like those big lines on myself. sometimes I wear eyeshadow. I don't do lipstick or lipgloss at all, and no foundation either. i always get the idea you can see it. don't you girls have that problem? I do sometimes use concealer for red spots, and thats all! At my internshiop they were cleaning up all the free things they get. so I went home with new mascara, a new eyeliner pencil, new eyeshadow and a lipstick for my mum. That was a lot of fun! haha. I always switch brands as well, I do have a lot of L'Oreal and Bourjois, some rimmel some bodyshop.. I just buy whatever I think looks nice and isn't too expensive. wow, I have no idea why I wrote a post that long about make up!! haha

^It must be the girl in you.
My mom and I joke that young women talk about clothes and makeup, middle aged women talk about their children and old women talk about their latest maladies!

I would love to use Clinique, but it's often too expensive for me I think. I might try to pick some up and give it a go when it comes on sale. I wear foundation, mascara and a creme eyeshadow most days (they're so much easier and faster than powder ones), sometimes some eyeliner.
I have mostly Maybeline and Revlon products. For moisturisers and other skin care I pretty much only use Olay, it's definately the best brand I've found for that so far.

I know what you mean Carma, I don't wear foundation (and eyeshadow) for the same reason. I don't feel comfortable with it, my bestfriend thinks it's funny because she doesn't feel comfortable WITHOUT foundation...lol, but she often says I have a better skin than hers. I just wear mascara (and pencil when I wake up a bit earlier), blusher and lipstick.

I'm pretty useless when it comes to make-up, I usually wear eyeliner and use a brow marker and that's it. The brow marker I guess is pretty unusual, but that's because mine are so blond you can't really see them and I found this perfect pen by Cover Girl that makes them look the same colour as my red hair - ironically the colour of the pen is called "soft blond", go figure!

I'm a little bit lazy too but I always wear make-up for work or on formal occasions. Recently I've started using Lancome and Estee Lauder, they are expensive but quite good!
