I thought that this would be appreciated here: curiousexpeditions.org/?p=78I think I'd like to be locked in some of them for a few weeks, with a supply of bread and water.

*librarygasm*That one in Brazil..!! Did anyone see that recent episode of the new 'Dr Who' series where the Doctor and Donna visit The Library.. a futuristic planet entirely dedicated to books. I'm not sure where they filmed it (some of it was CGI, but a lot looked like it was filmed on location at a big library somewhere) but it looked like heaven to me. A library planet.. ah, it's that kind of idea that makes me wish sci-fi was real.. that and the holodeck from Star Trek!

I'd be too afraid I'd mess something up to go in one of those libraries!

New York is just amazing, I was there last year and took a tour. The art on the ceilings and the reading rooms are awesome. The one at Parliment in Ottawa was beautiful before they renovated it, I haven't got to see it since.

Wow that's so much nicer than our law library. If it looked like that I'd study there all the time, as opposed to never!

Wow that's so much nicer than our law library. If it looked like that I'd study there all the time, as opposed to never! The funny thing is that it's mostly just 1Ls who use the reading room. I hardly used it at all my second and third year. Although I spent lots of time working in the newer part which is not nearly so pretty.
