I know sad things aren't supposed to be good... but I was just watching the scene where Lorelai and Chris are looking at GG and I was like, "Woah, that must be really big dejavu"
What do you guys think? Also sad scenes that are really good.

I can't watch the final episode of season three without crying. Rory's speech makes me always cry.

Oh when Lorelai and Luke have broken up and Lorelai is all curled up crying in bed and Rory is trying to comfort her but she's just a total broken un-Lorelai-like mess. And later when she calls Luke and leaves that painful rambling message on his machine talking about Katie and Hubble in 'The Way We Were'.. and she starts to cry again..
Lauren Graham's so great in that scene. It's a heartbreaker.

The ones where Lorelai and Luke break up for the first time are so sad.
And Rory's speech definately always makes me cry.
The one where Lorelai and Luke break up a second time is a great scene but I hate it... It's just really well written/acted.

Logan and Rory saying goodbye in season 6 is so sad (but kind of cute) and how he doesn't want her to go to the airport with him because then he won't be able to leave her!

I "hate" the scene with Rory and Jess on the bus when he's leaving for California. I think it's so sad that they bought have stuff they wanna say to each other, but don't.

Also, the one where Lorelai comes home from Max's and Rory is on the couch and she's like, "I'm ready to wallow now."
That's really sad.

i always cry at rorys graduation speech and also when rory is talking to jess on the phone after her graduation when she says that she thought that she loved him...and then the scene goes to jess in california - so sad!
i think that in season 4 when rory says no to jess after he says to only say no if she really didnt want to be with him is really sad because its pretty much the end of their romantic relationship...she goes back to dean and then logan, jess comes back and they kiss but she claims that shes in love with logan

The last episode in Season 5 is sad- the scene where Rory is moving into the pool house at her grandparents' house and Lorelai is just standing there watching her. It's sad! The song playing during this scene also adds to the melancholy-ness of it. I believe it was Claudine Longet, who is mentioned a couple of times during Gilmore Girls.

Ben and I have a running joke about how every episode ends sad. And whenever one does (as they often do and he always seems to be in the room for the very end) he will say, "see, sad Gilmore Girls." So now I get really excited when there is a happy one that I can point out.
