One of my favorites books (Possession: A Romance) was made into a movie...... I'm not sure if I want to see it or not though!! I don't want to ruin the book!

Has anyone seen the preview for The Secret Life Of Bees yet? I did, I saw it tonight. I loved the book, and I hope I'll love the movie too. Judging by the preview, I think I will. The actresses who were cast in leading roles in it are all amazing. I'm so excited to see this movie, I'll definitely be seeing it in theaters!

Anyone heard My Sister's Keeper is coming out in 2009? I saw Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin are in it.

Originally I was excited about Twilight, but now I'm kind of unsure. A friend at work said I could go to the screening with her though, so if that actually happens I'll definitely go since it will be free.
One book adaptation I'm not excited about is He's Just Not That Into You. I admit, I've never read the book it's based on (a self help book) but I have heard about it and think it sounds like a terribly sexist and stereotypical book. I find it odd that it was made into a movie. I definitely think the movie could be a lot better than the book, but I won't see it in the theater. Maybe I'll Netflix it if I hear good things about it. I just don't like the stereotype that men are always in control in the early stages of a relationship, and that women are too clingy, too needy, too fast to form an attachment.

Zelda, I'm sort of skeptical about the Twilight adaptation too. I've seen the actress that will play Bella, and I think she's a poor choice for the role. Nevertheless, I've been convinced to go see the midnight showing when it comes out...something I vowed I would never do lol But we'll see how it goes...

I don't really know what to think of the Twilight movie. I am not allowed to go to the midnight showing, but I am going as soon as I am done school. But I have heard some of the music and it is really good. We will see what it is like.

The acting I've seen in the Twilight trailer doesn't seem that great, but I'll still go and see it

They did an episode of Sex and the City based on it, so maybe it won't be too bad...

I just saw the Twilight movie last night. I am not going to give anything away to the people who want to go see it, but I just have to say that you shouldn't go by what the ratings, if you want to know what the movie is like you have to see it and make your own choice on if it is good or bad. lol

I have a friend who went to the midnight premier of Twilight and didn't like it (she's a fan of the books and said it was a bit of a let down), but I think I may watch it just for the eye candy. One of my million movie channels will show it eventually!

Inkheart is a major motion picture now, but I don't think I'm gonna watch it...the books are my favorites and I don't want my own imagination to be destroyed
