The Shack by William P. Young. My mom really really wants me to read this, haha. My aunt wants me to read it, too. I'm an atheist though so I doubt I'll "get" it. I'm reading The Language Instinct by Steven Pinker

I started The Code of the Woosters by PG Wodehouse as my non-War and Peace reading. I'm liking it a lot so far.

Make sure to tell us what you think of The Awakening in the book club thread, Lu!
I'm reading "Waiting for Godot", it's excellent! One of my new favourite plays!

Me again I just started "The Gathering", by Anne Enright I'll be curious to see how you like it. Ben didn't like it at all. But Man Booker books are usually good so I still want to read it.

So far it's a bit slow but she's good at conveying really strong emotions, so I'm enjoying it. But I think it might be the kind of book that appeals more to women because it's easier for us to understand how complicated and twisted mother-daughter relationships can be sometimes...

Make sure to tell us what you think of The Awakening in the book club thread, Lu! Of course and I can't wait to read what you guys think of it. I've also started Coraline by Neil Gaiman.
