Ok this is an activity idea I've been thinking about for the forum. A lot of us have had fun learning about other people's cultures and countries etc, so maybe it would be fun for everyone who registers to do this to recieve a post card from a member in another country. Basically everyone who wants to do it, private message me your name and address and I'll match you up with another member from a different country and give u their name and address and them yours. I'm not going to let just anyone do it, I'm gonna have a criteria of a certain amount of minimum posts, maybe 50. Anyone I think is dodgy or possibly assuming a fake identity won't be included.
What do you guys think? sound good?

That´d be fun. My mail always gets messed up, probably because there live so many people in the house( it´s for students only) and they get confused with the numbers. Hey, whoever writes me can chose a Dutch or German card

ok so as we know we're waiting for pixie dust to get back to uni so we can have her address before we start. As you all seem to be going back next week or the week after I'm guessing that will be sometime soon so be ready to be assigned to people! I think we will do it so everyone sends two cards to two people and recieves two cards. Should we have the same people writing to eachother like say if im matched up to neh i write to neh and neh writes to me> Or I write to neh and she writes to two different people? What do you guys think? (of course i wont be matched up with neh cos she lives in the same town as me but as an example). Also to anyone who hasn't registered yet but would like to participate there's still time to pm me your address.

Matching up the same people seems more polite Would be weird to send a postcard but not get one back from that person but if we´re going for diversity I wouldn´t mind either.

But then it's a bigger surprise if you don't know who's going to send you a postcard - I like the diversity idea better, but I'm fine either way.

I think I want in on this program. Wasn't sure about the cost of mailing out of the US but if it's just two postcards it can't be that expensive. Are we supposed to pick cards from our city, like local ones? I think I can find some but they won't be very interesting
