What are some books read in high school that your will never forget? Mine would have to be : The Outsiders- S E Hinton To Kill a Mockingbird- Harper Lee Of Mice and Men- Steinbeck
Those are three that I can read over and over...

Unfortunately in my country(Cyprus) they didn't make us read Classics.. So now I'm trying to read them by myself.. I love To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men as well as Little Women..

Okay, well some books I won't forget from high school are
-Grapes of Wrath -Hamlet -Their Eyes Were Watching God -Kite Runner -Anthem -The Giver -Odyssey
I also won't ever forget Catcher in the Rye because I hated it and Great Gatsby since I didn't really like it (but I was far from hating it)

I also won't ever forget Catcher in the Rye because I hated it and Great Gatsby since I didn't really like it (but I was far from hating it) You got to read The Kite Runner in school? Lucky you! And Anthem...that's by Ayn Rand, right? Was it good?

I'm so jealous! We were never asked to read novels in high school... Once, one of my teachers suggested we read one and I think I'm the only one in the entire class who read it. It's called "Menaud, Maître-Draveur", a Quebec literature classic, and I really enjoyed it. I've read it several times since then.

I'll never forget Heart Of Darkness because I spent ages trying to understand it, before deciding to drop that course entirely.
But umm... favourite book was probably To Kill A Mockingbird.
