It's the holidays, the season of giving; and more importantly, getting something back for your long efforts in trying to get the perfect gift for your loved ones. Sooo..... what books are on your holiday wishlist? Why?

Oh this is such a good topic sagedautumn! Actually, I've been trying to narrow down my wish list in the past few days but I haven't been very successful... Everyday I think of a new book I always wanted or someone mentions reading a great book or I watch an old GG episode and Rory is reading something else... It's crazy! I will post back when I have my top-5 books...

Totally know what you mean, bookworm. Since my parents asked me about some books I wish for Christmas I tried to write a shorter list but it's really an hard work

I honestly can't figure out which ones to post either. I have an ongoing battle with myself each time I go to buy a book for myself as to which one I should buy!

My parents asked me to make a list of books I want for Christmas. I was like ok this will be easy, no problem. So I just started typing up books I wanted and ended up with around 50. Well, my parents love me and all, but not enough to buy me 50 books. I'm trying to narrow it down to no more than 10. I figure that way they can have a choice of which ones they want to buy, and it'll be sort of a surprise. I'll post them once I get it figured out...

My books wishlist this year:
The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing At Large and Small by Anne Fadiman The Gathering by Anne Enright The Trouble With Poetry and Other Poems by Billy Collins A Good Man Is Hard to Find and Other Stories by Flannery O'Connor More Book Lust: Recommended Reading for Every Mood, Moment, and Reason by Nancy Pearl Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren (the new edition illustrated by Lauren Child Penguin by Design: A Cover Story 1935-2005 by Phil Baines One Hundred and Forty Five Stories in a Small Box: Hard to Admit and Harder to Escape, How the Water Feels to the Fishes, and Minor Robberies The Annotated Alice: The Definitive Edition by Lewis Carroll The Dud Avocado by Elaine Dundy The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera Portraits and Observations: The Essays of Truman Capote by Truman Capote
I've been told I'm extremely hard to shop for, so my family tends to stick to my lists. Though my mom always finds a few great surprises for me too. I make long lists so they can pick and choose and so I'm still surprised about what things I actually get.
