Just started Love in the time of cholera... I had a rule of focusing on my dissertation until Christmas holidays but I gave in... My Grandmother haves the spanish version of the book and she says it a fabulous story. I haven't seen the movie, but I've been hearing nothing but great reviews.

I'm reading "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath and I must say that it depresses me a little.

I started The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz.
I like it so far but the untranslated Spanish is driving me crazy. I'm mostly reading it on the train to and from work, so I can't even look anything up. Even when I'm at home reading though, there are too many phrases to look all of them up without it taking forever to read.

I get annoyed when other languages that I don't know invade my books, too. I sometimes end up looking them up, but even if I don't, it just slows me down and makes me stumble a lot while reading.
