How do you like the House of Seven Gables by Hawthorne?? I read the Scarlet Letter for school and i thought it was so so so tedious. This year we had to read Young Goodman Brown, once again I thought that was tedious as well and that was only a short story! Is this any better??

I'm reading "The Group" by Mary McCarthy, and "Summer Crossing" by Truman Capote. Has anyone read them?

I'm reading "Running with Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs. And I thought MY family was weird... I saw the movie version of that and had the same reaction. I haven't read the book yet. Is it any good?
