I'm currently in San Fransisco, but I have a feeling that I might be going to Afghanistan pretty soon...

I ran away from the Dalloway party and am currently in limbo because I can't decide which book to read. Wish me luck!

I was in Hong Kong a little while mostly in China. I also saw bits of England and the US while mostly in China. (It's not as confusing as it may seem when I say it that way.)
But now I've left China/Hong Kong/England/US and am just at Clarissa Dalloway's party. I believe I'll be traversing to WWII France shortly though.

Neh, I looked at amazon for I Capture the Castle and I must say it looks scrumptous. It's taking every ounce of will power not to buy the $.01 copy.....The urge is SO strong!!
Anyway, I finally found my path and am with Thursday Next in her hometown of Swindon

Not sure if this is where I should post this thought, but...
I have now read 3 books this year that took place in France (mostly Paris) in the early part of the century and I think I really need to go to Paris now. I have these grand visions of it as a result of these books. Although I do have the mistaken impression that I may run into Hemingway there...

AUGH! NO - avoid Hemingway memccart - if you see him, run in the opposite direction, hehe! But while you're in France, will you go to Nice for me? I've always wanted to go, coz i firmly believe that if i do i shall run into Laurie from Little Women, whilst he's on his vacation after Jo's refusal, and i will convince him to marry ME instead of Amy! Hurray, sage - i'm so happy you bought ICTC - it's a lovely, lovely read and i want to thank LG and my friend Cinta for continually nagging me to read it myself. But at least you got it cheap, sage, right? That's always an upside!
