if you were shipwrecked on an island and had nothing except one book, what book would you want that to be and why.

Normally, I'd choose The Catcher in the Rye. But if I were stuck on an island, I'd want to have a copy of Robinson Crusoe. I don't like the book much, but it might come in handy.

Raft Building for Dummies;) Or A Far Off Place by Laurens Van Der Post, that's probably the one among my favorites that would fit best in that setting;)

It makes me feel anxious thinking about only having one book for the rest of my life! I would probably choose Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy because not only is it one of my favorite books but it is also really long so would take longer to read and so fill up more of my free time .

That's a good idea Kristie! it counts as a book but it contains more than only one work.

I might take the complete works of Jane Austen There are many compilations all her books in one large book, so I think that counts for one book Yeah that the copy I have, all of Jane Austen in one. Only one book mmm.. that really hard.
