I like that some magazines have homepages although I prefer paper. I like to read magazines about literature but I don´t like to spend too much on them so the internet comes in handy. I don´t think it´s a magazine but it´s a great site for culture and literature in German www.perlentaucher.de/

I am incredibly sad- one of my very favorite magazines is folding. Jane Magazine's last issue will be their upcoming August Issue.
In my opinion it was the best women's magazine in the US. I'm very sad that it's ending.

I love Jane. That is very sad that it is ending. I haven't read it in awhile, but I think I may have to get the August issue.

why is it ending? do you know? I guess circulation has been struggling for 2 years, since the original editor left. I guess they just stopped being profitable. I'm really bummed.

Oh I hate when that happens. There seem to be so many bad magazines who´s reading those instead of the good ones that need circulation? I hate that it´s so difficult or expensive to get foreign magazines

I hate that it´s so difficult or expensive to get foreign magazines Me too. When I went to Italy and France the bulk of my suitcase weight was magazines since it was so cheap to buy them there! The Italian vogue costs $20 in the US!

Yikes! I have yet to find a great German literary magazine. I like the English and American magazines better mostly because I´m more interested in their literature.

I've yet to find literature magazines but that sounds like they would be right up my alley. My favorite newspaper is the Globe and Mail, Canada's national newspaper. I find it to be fair and comprehensive, especially compared to the local newspaper here in Halifax. As for magazines, I occasionally read Cosmopolitan but only if I'm in a brainless sort of a mood. I also read People Espanol not because I'm interested in celebrities but because I need to practice my Spanish on a regular basis.

I enjoy Time and The Economist (although I canceled my subscription since I never had time to read it).

My favorite mag is Details - kinda weird considering it's a men's fashion magazine, but I like reading the articles, most topics are really interesting and I like the way they're written...

I've never been really big on magazines but when I do remember, I pick up Teen Vogue because I like the clothes they show, and NYLON because they have interesting articles and there are no gossipy articles on celebs. They also have a lot of great band reviews and interviews with upcoming young celebrities and singers. I've also gotten some good book suggestions from there.
