Hi, everyone (not sure who is still around). It's been awhile since I stopped by here. I know I see a lot of you elsewhere on the internet these days, but I just wanted to say a quick hello and see who is around. I kind of miss the days when RBC was where I went for all of my bookish talk. Quick update: We are expecting our first baby next month and moving into our first house in a couple of weeks. Big changes in my life. Still in Florida practicing law. Still reading, though life is getting in the way a bit. How are you all doing? You can always find me on twitter (@michelleerin) or at my blog (www.mybooksmylife.com) if I'm not on here. I'm going to browse the boards a bit now.

Hi Michelle, welcome back! Even though I'm not active here as long as you, it's good to see you again I found your blog through this board, and am checking it quite frequently. You're doing a great job with it, please don't stop! Also I want to congratulate you on your pregnancy! I wish you all the best! I think it's been a little quiet here the past few months, so looking forward to seeing you here more often!

And once again I come by and don't return for months. But only 2 months this time.
I had the baby on May 26th. Evan Michael and he is just perfect (if demanding). Actually getting a lot of reading done while nursing (especially audiobooks during those night time feedings).
lostinwonders, I practice plaintiff's employment law in Florida. Mostly representing employees - people who have been wrongfully terminated, improperly paid, or those with noncompete clauses. What kind of law do you want to practice?

I seem to keep better track of people on twitter and facebook than on here! Your baby is absolutely adorable, Michelle!

Wow. I guess it's been a year since I was here. Can we go back to 2007 when this was my favorite place on the internet?

Well, I remembered my username. I miss this place. So many great discussions, and so much fun.

I think most message boards have had dwindling visitors... it's just so much easier to talk through twitter, facebook, and whatever else is there! But it would be nice if we could put some new life into this one

My last login was apparently at the beginning of last September--11 months ago, to be exact. I remember coming here every single day and, though I love seeing what most of you are posting on FB these days, it makes me a bit sad that we don't really talk about books so much together anymore. I don't know that I've really updated about my life on here, even the last time I logged in. So, Nick and I have been slowly fixing up our house for the past year (it's not in THAT bad of shape, so slowly is okay). I'm working as an aide in an elementary school autism program with 6 amazing kids. We are still just two, but next year we plan on starting our family

I'm still in uni, too! ;D But I'm hoping I'll graduate next year and am actually about to start writing my thesis. It's so good to hear from all of you. I've missed this place. I come here every now and then and thus was surprised by the amount of members that logged in within the last 24 hours.
