i was in my bookstore and an american tourist, who bought some books, left her old ones there saying that she finishdt it and that we could have them, so my new book is "The 6th target" by James Patterson in english. it w's something like bookcrossing...i will read the book, register it on www.bookcrossing.com and i will release it on a train where there are so many touristes...maybe it will come back to USA! Sounds great! 1001 childrens books you must read before you grow up. So many memories... I love the title. ;D

The Vanishing of Katharina Linden by Helen Grant, which is new release set in a German town about the disappearance of a young girl. Apparently it has fairytale influences. Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

I impulsively bought Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros the other day, I hadn't heard of it before but spotted it in a discount bookstore and thought it sounded good.

A colleague needed to buy a book online because he couldn't find it in any bookstores and I thought it a good idea to make a group order...just to save the shipping costs. ;D Anyway, I purchased only two books: - An Ordinary Person's Guide To Empire by Arundhati Roy - Storia dell'Italia partigiana by Giorgio Bocca. It's an history of the partisan movement in Italy. I already read an history of the Italian Republic he wrote in the 1980s, a very interesting book!

I found books in English at a used book store! Yay! And only for $180 mx. (About 15 bucks) Cold Comfort Farm- Stella Gibbons The Edible Woman- Margaret Atwood For Whom the Bell Tolls- Ernest Hemingway To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of either Atwood (even though I'm Canadian, the shame ) or Hemingway. However, beggars can't be choosers. It was either those or a selection of V.C Andrews novels.
