And once again I come by and don't return for months. But only 2 months this time.
I had the baby on May 26th. Evan Michael and he is just perfect (if demanding). Actually getting a lot of reading done while nursing (especially audiobooks during those night time feedings).
lostinwonders, I practice plaintiff's employment law in Florida. Mostly representing employees - people who have been wrongfully terminated, improperly paid, or those with noncompete clauses. What kind of law do you want to practice?

I bought A Grown Up Kind of Pretty by Joshilyn Jackson and Perfect by Ellen Hopkins recently and had them both signed at a reading festival in Orlando. I haven't read either yet.

I just finished Candide - not quite sure what to make of it. I also finished the second Maisie Dobbs book on audio yesterday - loving this series.

Hi, everyone (not sure who is still around). It's been awhile since I stopped by here. I know I see a lot of you elsewhere on the internet these days, but I just wanted to say a quick hello and see who is around. I kind of miss the days when RBC was where I went for all of my bookish talk. Quick update: We are expecting our first baby next month and moving into our first house in a couple of weeks. Big changes in my life. Still in Florida practicing law. Still reading, though life is getting in the way a bit. How are you all doing? You can always find me on twitter (@michelleerin) or at my blog (www.mybooksmylife.com) if I'm not on here. I'm going to browse the boards a bit now.

It's been awhile (again) since I've popped in here. Sorry. I am currently reading The Night Circus and listening to Ready Player One. Enjoying both immensely. I am going to start reading "Everything beautiful began after" by Simon van Booy on my way to Barcelona tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to both, travelling and reading. I LOVED this book. And I read it right after leaving Athens which made it even more special. Enjoy.

I know I'm super late with this, but thank you for the birthday wishes. It was a good one. We went to our town's mardi gras celebration and then my mom came down for the weekend.

Yesterday I finished an audiobook: Anne of Green Gables, I loved it! I had borrowed it from a friend but I'm going to buy my own copy. I've still never read Anne of Green Gables. I must remedy this soon. I finished Matched by Ally Condie today. It was very good. I'm not sure I will ever tire of dystopian YA novels.

Hope you're staying warm and safe, Kristie. I'm actually jealous of everyone with snow days today. Obviously I didn't get one although it is pretty cool and foggy.
