8-)Hello. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a great comedy book to me. I do not read too often but when I do read, I like a funny book. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

hmmm... good question! I think Bridget Jones's Diary could count as comedy and it's a really funny one, and I also liked The Nanny Diaries,

I recommend David Sedaris.....his books are personal memoirs and essays, not novels, but they are absolutely fantastic, and laugh out loud funny. "Me Talk Pretty One Day" is the best one to start with, in my opinion. Or "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim."
"A Girl Named Zippy" is a memoir that is also incredibly funny and well written. It's by Haven Kimmel.
"Sellavision" is Augusten Burroughs' only novel (the rest are memoirs, also very funny) and it's a hoot and a fun read.
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" books by Douglas Adams are amazingly funny and original.

The stephanie plum novels are my favorite series, besides Harry Potter. It's about a girl who is a bounty hunter (a bad bounty hunter) with a crazy family, and it is very humerous. She has to guys she interested in and can't choose. I highly recommend them. Check out amazon for some book descriptions.
