I've never read Pygmalion, but I have seen My Fair Lady--I don't know how similar they are in reality. But the ending of the movie was pretty ambiguous--it doesn't really give you closure, although it gives you an idea and you can imagine what happens for yourself.
Is the "What Happens Next" part like an Epilogue? I think I've finally figured out a way to read epilogues and be happy (I find the closure a little constricting--I like to be able to sort of imagine what happens myself). I'm going to examine my feelings about the book/write a review of sorts before I read the epilogue so at least I'll know my true feelings about the book. This way, I won't completely hate a book because of the epilogue.

It doesn't really read like an epilogue, it's just Shaw saying so Eliza marries Freddy, and then they have money trouble so they go to business school, and so on. It completely kills the magic of the play

I recently finished The Giver by Lois Lowry, I loved it! I've added the other books of the trilogy to my tbr list, I can't wait to read them. I read that recently, too. Didn't know it was a trilogy though, yay for that! ;D Well, I didn't know about it either, until I finished the book and read the back cover. ;D

I recently finished Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk which by the way is also mentioned in Gilmore Girls. I loved it. It consists of interviews with band members, their managers, friends, groupies and so on, really interesting.

I just finished The Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood. This was my first Atwood. I like it more than I thought I would.

Last night I finished "Le fait du prince" by Amélie Nothomb, it was really good, I've yet to be disappointed in one of her novels.

Finished The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. It was a fun, light read. Exactly what I expected.

I finished Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout, I found it a sad book but I liked it! The "novel in short stories" form kind of reminded me of The View from Castle Rock and it was interesting to see some main characters turning into minor characters of other stories, and viceversa.

I just finished Bradon Sanderson's/Robert Jordan's Towers of Midnight. Loved it. I have to say that the Wheel of Time is probably one of my favorite series.
