Since I graduated college I've caught up on a lot of classics that I had missed: Jane Eyre, all of Jane Austen's novels, Wuthering Heights, Madame Bovary, The Age of Innocence, To Kill a Mockingbird, and more.
I also was embarrassed that I hadn't read Little Women or Anne of Green Gables (I had only read abridged versions when I was younger). Mainly I was embarrassed because I love kid's literature so much, and those are two absolute classics of Kid's Lit, especially for girls. I read both of those this year, and am continuing to read the entire Anne of Green Gables series.
Now I try to not be embarrassed by specific books I haven't read. I read a lot, but like Dom said, it's impossible to read everything! I still try to read classics that I haven't read yet, the next couple on my list are: Alice in Wonderland, David Copperfield, and The Scarlett Letter.
