I finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer today and it was amazing. One of the best books I read during the past few months.

I finished The Curious Cas of Benjamin Button. Did you read it with Daily Lit? How'd you like reading by email?

I just finished two of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels in quick succession- Club Dead and Dead to the world. Wonderfully trashy! I enjoy reading fluffy novels when I'm a bit stressed out.

A Girl Named Zippy by Haven Kimmel. I liked it though my feelings for it grew more neutral toward the end for some reason. It might be completely unrelated to the book and more the way in which I read it.

I finished The Curious Cas of Benjamin Button. Did you read it with Daily Lit? How'd you like reading by email? Good, it was actually easier than I though but I have to admit I'd find really hard to read a book with more than 15-20 instalments. I'm thinking of reading A Modest Proposal next, it has only 4 instalments. I finished I Capture the Castle and I can't wait to discuss it.

Yeah, I was thinking of reading a smaller work again, too. I trued Great Expectations but it was going to take forever. Maybe I'll read A Modest Proposal, too. Ben teaches it in his class and it sounds interesting.
I finished Lawyer Boy by Rick Lax. I enjoyed it. It was nice reading something that I could relate to. And it's much better than One L - the standard in first-year-of-law-school books.
