I'm back! I bet you all were really lost here without me.
I'm on a new reading spree again. It's been fun. I read Pride & Prejudice for the first time and then after that had to watch the '95 BBC series (hadn't seen it completely before but liked what I'd seen) and now I want my own Mr. Darcy!

Passing out is the strangest feeling in the world.
I was in the dreaded Wal-Mart today and injured myself. Someone drove their cart out in front of me in the store, so I pulled my cart back while continuing to walk forward because I'm an absolute genius. I ended up slamming the cart into my little toe, tearing my toenail halfway off. It hurt. Bad. But I didn't notice until later that it was bleeding. Well, I hate blood and was starting to feel queasy because I was starting to smell it (yes, I can smell blood) so I headed to the check out line before I finished my shopping. While in line, I started getting really hot and could feel myself starting to sweat. Everything went blurry and started spinning around, so I grabbed onto the counter to try to steady myself. The cashier started talking to me (I saw her lips moving) but I couldn't hear anything she was saying. Next thing I know, I'm sitting on the ground with people staring at me. I guess I passed out for just a few seconds. I was kind of embarrassed, so I jumped up, paid, and left as fast as possible. My toe was still bleeding and I felt funny so I was stumbling around the parking lot like a drunk. I had to sit in the vehicle for 20 minutes with the ac on full blast before I felt confident enough to drive home.
And that was my first experience with passing out.

haha, I want my own Mr.Darcy too! ;D Don't we all? I passed out once, during my trip to Tunisia. I guess it was because of the heat... When I woke up I was on the floor with a lot of people around me, staring at me. It was embarrassing. And then for the rest of the trip everyone was constantly asking me if I felt ok which was even more embarrassing and annoying!

I have a "small world" story. I was at a ballet class last night and this woman in her 60s heard me say I was from Michigan. She asked where and when I told her Ann Arbor, she said she took ballet lessons there as a teenager. Turns out it was at my studio. My teacher's grandmother (who originally opened the studio) was her teacher. There are a lot of displaced northern midwesterners here, but that is still cool. I can't wait to tell my teacher.

I'm crocheting here. Probably the first time ever when I actually enjoy about it. I'm staying in basics for now.

applications for university have FINALLY arrived. I'm soooo excited, but still a little frazzled because my trials are still on and i don't finish for another week. also, i've gotta find a formal dress for my end of school formal in november, but i don't know if it'll be easy to find one which others aren't going to have and which isn't very costly.. ALSOALSOALSO i have another three months until my schooling life is done and dusted!! which makes me sad/happy but i'm so glad all this stressful studying is coming to a close and my skin had BETTER stopped suffering from the stress AND i'm sooo happy that winter's ending soon. EDIT: There's an ad for miley cyrus at the top of every page I have... I don't like her very much.

What degree's are you thinking of applying for? ok well they've given us our UAC guides, which has every single course offered in 2009 for universities in nsw. I've got 9 choices i' think, so the first 5 or 6 will be to get into medicine courses, and then pharmacy, chemical engineering and science/engineering. and i'm applying interstate too for medicine at queensland and melbourne. i haven't decided which uni i'd prefer over which though... they all seem great. they aren't due until the end of september though so i still have time to think
