Does anyone else think that the CW is going downhill a little bit? I just saw an ad for Gossip Girl, and I think that the CW isn't what it used to be. What happened to Gilmore Girls and Seventh Heaven. Now the shows seem to be telling teenagers its okay to do bad to themselves. Ahhhh Rant over.

Personally, I think all TV is going downhill a LOT.
I also think the Gossip Girl series looks dumb, and I hate the books.
However - isn't there supposed to be a new show that Lauren Graham is producing? I remember hearing something about it and thinking it sounded good. I wonder if it's happening.

TV is going downhill! My friend, Allison told me to read them, I could barely get past the first page (I didn't finish it... shhh) I thought it was Amy and Dan producing/writing a new show, but you could be right. It would be cool if Lauren wrote a show!

I read the first Gossip Girl, and I hated it. I vowed to never read another one of them. I definately will not be watching the show. Tv is going downhill.

I read one Gossip Girl.
I was grimacing, shouting, and crying out "THIS IS AWFUL" the entire time. I was slightly disappointed, I have to say (don't yell!): I thought that GG during its CW phase was much worse than it was at the WB. Maybe that's because Amy Sherman Palladino was on board, but it seemed to me that, once at the CW, GG became silly and slightly frivolous; not intelligent and witty.

I agree, it seemed like the CW wanted to turn everything into a 10 and above for everything, Gilmore Girls was more of a teen show than anything, and the show just turned into a little kid's show.
