I love french I'm half french myself and I was raised with the language, next to dutch. I talk it frequently but I still have a little bit of trouble with some verbs. (acquérir, coudre are tricky for me) -shudders- acquérir is really one of the most annoying french verbs I know.

I wish I spoke french. All I know is a whole bunch of ballet terms (and I'm sure we butcher them when we say them).

hehe, actually.. je ne comprend pas means I don't understand.. figured that out last night when I was trying to sleep... I also forget what I've learned in high school... My German sucks as well, but I only had that for.. 3 years maybe... but luckily, german is more like dutch..

Isn't "I don't know" "je ne se pas" ? I looked that up the other day when reading and I think that's what I came up with.

The only other ones I can remember are Longlei (spelling?) means English and comprom ba or something similar I think means I don't know? English: anglais (or l'anglais) and I don't know: je ne comprends pas. So not exactly the right spelling, but if you had said it out loud I would have understood you! I don't know: je ne sais pas. Oh and guys, I'm assuming (hoping!) you understand what "voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir" means? I wouldn't want you to get in trouble, now!
