I was watching to episode 7x06 and I had the idea for a new thread. Do you remember any funny moments on Gilmore Girls?
Beginning of episode 7x06- Go Bulldogs: Lorelai phoned at her parents' house and acted as if Emily didn't answer and left a message on the answering machine...I really couldn't stop laughing and I watched that part three times. A great trick by Jess: episode 2x08- The Ins And Outs Of Inn, when Jess drew a chalkman in front of Doosie's market and everyone thought there have been a murder. In episode 2x05- Nick & Nora, Sid & Nancy, when Luke pushed jess in the lake, that's absolutely funny! That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are many others.

I LOVE when Luke pushed Jess in the lake, that was hilarious.
I think one of my favorite parts of all times is when Zack goes to the party that Brian and Gil are playing at (after their band breaks up in season 6) and they are doing a cover of Hollerback Girl.

I love the breakfast scene in "Eight o'clock at the oasis". There are so many hilarious things in it: Lorelai and Rory arguing about the "how about that schnitzel"-joke, Luke going ballistic because of all the parents and their babies and of course Jess being scared of the nursing woman.

LOL that was a really funny moment, I definately cracked up. It sounded better than the original I thought! (if that's saying something )

Oh my, i could list so many.... but for now i'll be lazy and just list sayings (without the episode names, coz as previously stated, i am lazy) - "Oi with the poodles already!" (the BEST random thing to come out of their mouths, and that's saying something!) - "Great; then we can hold hands and skip afterwards" (the ultimate in Jess sarcasm) - "I have made my peace with the fact that most of the people who come here are a notch above braindead and that the pennies i am thrown each week are an exchange for me dealing with these people in a non-violent manner and normally that would be fine but today - sorry lady i have en-wee" (or however it's spelt. Michel has an off-day) - "Pain is your bodies way of saying 'i'm not ok now but i will be soon'" (Taylor's philosophy) - "You threw a pencil, that's a cry out for pie"/ "What if i had thrown a pen?"/ "Then i would have brought you a trout"/ "What?" /"I don't make the rules, i just carry them out" (an early Luke and Rory piece of chitchat) - "I feel like crap on toast" (a hungover Michel) - "Taylor, no, no, no, no, and every day from now on 'til the end of my life, I am gonna come in here and say, "Taylor, no." And when I die, I'm gonna have them freeze me next to Ted Williams, and when they find the cure to what I died of and they unfreeze me, my first words are gonna be, "How's Ted?" followed closely by, "Taylor, no." (i love an angry Luke) - "For example, I can instantly deduce that when someone hears the name Paris in the same sentence with the word date, jaws will drop, confused looks will cover faces, words like 'how' and 'why' and 'Quick, Bob, get the children in the minivan because the world is obviously coming to an end.' will immediately fly out of people's mouths." (Paris... need i say more!) - "Now, walk smooth. That's the new Harry Potter on your heads. If they should drop, Harry will die, and there won't be anymore books." (Miss Patty and her dance class)
There's so many more (including of course multimple Kirk moments) but i fear i may be writing the wrong stuff in the wrong thread anyway, so i best depart before i embarass myself further!!

I've found the speech online, I've read it and it seems complete...hope it is: "Headmaster Charleston, faculty members, fellow students, family and friends, welcome. We never thought this day would come. We prayed for its quick delivery, crossed days off our calendars, counted hours, minutes, and seconds, and now that it's here, I'm sorry it is because it means leaving friends who inspire me and teachers who have been my mentors - so many people who have shaped my life and my fellow students' lives impermeably and forever. I live in two worlds. One is a world of books. I've been a resident of Faulkner's Yoknapatawpha County, hunted the white whale aboard the Pequod, fought alongside Napoleon, sailed a raft with Huck and Jim, committed absurdities with Ignatius J. Reilly, rode a sad train with Anna Karenina, and strolled down Swann's Way. It's a rewarding world, but my second one is by far superior. My second one is populated with characters slightly less eccentric but supremely real, made of flesh and bone, full of love, who are my ultimate inspiration for everything. Richard and Emily Gilmore are kind, decent, unfailingly generous people. They are my twin pillars without whom I could not stand. I am proud to be their grandchild. But my ultimate inspiration comes from my best friend, the dazzling woman from whom I received my name and my life's blood, Lorelai Gilmore. My mother never gave me any idea that I couldn't do whatever I wanted to do or be whomever I wanted to be. She filled our house with love and fun and books and music, unflagging in her efforts to give me role models from Jane Austen to Eudora Welty to Patti Smith. As she guided me through these incredible eighteen years, I don't know if she ever realized that the person I most wanted to be was her. Thank you, Mom. You are my guidepost for everything."
