wow...very hilarious! Thanks for posting the link, Dom. I'm not an expert of Dickens but I'm not sure he would built the place himself, if he wuold be alive. Anyway, it might be interesting...can I suggest a Jane Austen theme park?? It might be even greater!

Thanks for the link! I think it's an interesting concept, and I like that they want to make sure it doesn't turn into a Disney affair. When I was in PEI I visited Avonlea, which is basically the world of Anne of Green Gables come to life, and I had a great time! So if that's what they do I think it might work

I think the characters from his novels walking around like Goofy would be the best part.

it seems silly, but I think I would go if I was in the area A Jane Austen theme park would be cool.

I would go too! I've read Oliver Twist some weeks ago and it would be interesting seeing a reconstruction of place where the novel is set. Glad to hear that Jane Austen theme park have other supporters!
