That is very cool, it looks quite real for a large sculpture. It says he's Australian but I've never heard of him before If one of his exhibits come back here I'll check it out for sure.

I think he's been living in London for quite some time, so don't feel bad about it!
The sculptures are incredibly life-like - the closer you get, the more real it seems because you can see all the little details in the skin, like the small veins, freckles, blemishes, hair... I was really impressed!

I really liked the one of the two old people, it was so real looking! edit: also the pregnant woman and the one where an old man was sitting in front of a wall listing the names of victims of nazi experiments

If not for the visitors I would´ve thought the older women were real. That´s really amazing work!

I've seen an exhibiton on him three years ago in Haarlem. I thought it was amazing. On the one hand his sculptures are so lifelike, but on the other, the sizes are not. They are bigger or smaller than life, so that the effect is really weird. In the exhibition there was also a small sculpture of a naked woman who just had a baby. The umbilcal cord was still connecting them. I thought that image was a little too real for me :-)

Those must be the most lifelike sculptures I've ever seen. How amazing!

I went to the National Gallery to see that exhibit too. It was amazingly realistics, but I went shortly after it opened so there was a ton of people standing around.
They really did look like they were going to come to life or something.
